During the last 3 years I have been visiting the villages and countryside around the mountain Říp, which could be considered the most typical Czech region ever. I am interested in the aesthetics of the ordinary, the mediocre and the uninteresting. The average „Czech Tao“, as Ivan Lutterer would say. The factor of timelessness is important, when it is not obvious to the viewer whether the photograph was taken yesterday or 30 years ago.
